Will tourism return to its ugly ways once a vaccine hits? In my drafts I have posts that were written months ago and never published, lamenting overtourism, questioning travel, and wondering if change is needed. Perhaps I subconsciously knew change was a-coming. But, will it actually matter? Will it have made changes for the long haul?

Overtourism ruined my favourite destination, and yet I’m clamoring to head back there the second I can. The lure of quiet streets. The short line-ups at my favourite museums. The chatter of the french language, instead of the loud, and obnoxious English-speaking tourists. Sign.Me.Up. To hell with annoying locals all over again. To hell with starting another boom of overtourism. I had to stay home for less than a year, so I deserve it. Right?
