Throughout this trying time we’ve banded together as a community and sought solace in one another. We realized that we aren’t invincible, that we need to rely on one another and Mother Nature.

For the longest time, nearly every single day I ended up crying, whether from feel-good news or the horrors and realities of what’s going on in hospitals.

Through it all, Mother Nature has kept on doing her thing. Spring has thawed the snow and green has sprouted up through the cold earth.

Canals have run clear in Venice, pollution levels are down, the ozone layer continues to heal itself, the world is taking back its natural beauty as humans are forced inside.

I hope we learn so many things from this.

  1. We need healthcare more than ever. Here in Canada I feel incredibly lucky that I have access to free healthcare. Is it perfect? No. Should we have better healthcare put in place for our persons? Of course. It’s the one thing I agree with when it comes to the NDP(for you Americans, the NDP are the most democratic Democrats out there). We need to put more emphasis on vaccines (I really hope the bullshit anti-vax trend goes away) and keeping hospitals stocked both with medical supplies…
